Gods, I don't think you'd believe me if I told you. Though — remind me to show you some new skills I developed since we last spoke, sometime.
[She settles herself down in the seat across from him, folding her hands against the surface and tilting her head a fraction in a pondering expression. How does one summarize the entirety of her time on the First, while leaving out the nitty gritty details that still left her feeling conflicted and hurt?]
I travelled to an entirely different world, for a period of time.
You'd be surprised at what I'd be willing to believe, Aster. Spare no detail, I would like to hear all of it. [He perked at the mention of new skills, of course.] Have you? Then I must insist, when you have the time to spare of course, upon a demonstration!
[Another world though, that was... Well, unbelievable, really, though as he'd said before, he wouldn't be so quick to brush it aside as such. After all, the existence of other worlds was at this point, a fact to him. They were currently on one themselves, were they not?]
[She was so wrapped up in the joy of seeing cat dad she completely forget they were literally in another world. Oops.]
I was summoned through space itself by a man known as the Crystal Exarch in order to save his star from beings known as Lightwardens. [Oh... Oh this was a story, wasn't it? And here he was with no damn drink while she told it as well. He might need to relocate this conversation at this rate, this was a drink story.]
.... And? Oh it doesn't end there, obviously so! I must hear more, should you be willing to tell me of it. Already it sounds almost too fantastical for belief, but aught what I've seen from the Warrior already, I shouldn't even be surprised to hear it!
Come, even should you not find proper words for it, we can still find a proper place to speak. I've vouchers to spare, let us find a place for a drink.
