That it does.

[ Trying to keep the vitriol out of his voice is much easier when he's getting tipsy, thankfully. He smiles somewhat wryly, though is quick to cover it with his mug of ale. ]

Mm? [ He blinks slowly, the alcohol starting to fill his body's weak mortal veins with that sort-of-pleasant but sort-of-strange tingle. ] I was doing some research... Secretly of course, I am clearly no Garlean.

[ Small of stature, no third eye. He weaves his tale with his gift for words, which thankfully makes up for how ruefully behind his fellow Unsundered are when it comes to creativity. ]

It was only a matter of time before I would have to escape it, I suppose. [ He shakes his head. ] A rather depressing subject, I am sorry to have brought it up.

[ He's much stronger than Elidibus, who has probably finished about the same amount by now, or even a little less, and is already beginning to look at this sad little Sundered Miqo'te as entirely more interesting than he originally thought.

A mature man, aged finely and with so much experience in life.... Elidibus' favorite type. Oh no. ]

Oh... yes. It was a risk to take indeed. But my work is even far more interesting to me than adventuring itself.

[ He shakes his head, as if to clear some thought. ]

Current pupil? A teacher, then.... Is that what you were doing?

[ It would not surprise Elidibus at this point if the miqo'te could hold his liquor better. He is quickly learning himself doomed when faced with mortal alcohol in a mortal body. He hates it... but is clearly not stopping himself entirely. ]

Adventuring... is something of a hobby, yes. I am more a diplomat than anything.

[ He's had his hand in creating heroes, and being a hero, and destroying heroes of great renown of course. But First and Foremost he will always be the Emissary. Small details he leaves out for X'ruhn of course, but their attention goes to the matter of teaching which is a fine enough distraction.

And if Elidibus happens to be admiring his teacher's form from a physical perspective as well now, don't worry about it. ]

A natural instructor, then. It's a fine quality to have. Your student... has not come to this place with you? Perhaps you can teach others in the meantime.
